Radha Madhav Cultural Association of Calgary
Founded in the late 1980s, ISKCON Calgary has been a vibrant spiritual and cultural cornerstone in Calgary for over three decades. As the local chapter of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), we are dedicated to sharing the timeless wisdom of the Vedic tradition through devotion, education, cultural celebration, and community service.
Our center is a sacred space where individuals and families from all backgrounds come together to experience spiritual growth, meaningful connection, and a sense of belonging.
At the heart of our community is the practice of bhakti-yoga — the path of loving devotional service to Lord Krishna. We strive to:
~ Share the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam
~ Promote peace, compassion, and spiritual well-being
~ Foster a welcoming and inclusive devotional community
~ Preserve and celebrate Vedic culture and traditions
Through daily worship, congregational chanting (kirtan), scriptural study, and spiritual discussions, we offer opportunities for everyone to deepen their understanding of life’s higher purpose.
ISKCON Calgary is more than a temple — it is a living, serving community.
We actively assist new immigrants and families settling in Calgary by offering cultural connection, spiritual guidance, and community support.
Through programs such as the Calgary Vedic Academy, we help children and youth build strong character, cultural identity, and spiritual values through Sanskrit learning, devotional arts, music, philosophy, and leadership development.
Throughout the year, we host vibrant festivals that bring together thousands of participants from across Calgary. From Janmashtami and Gaura Purnima to public celebrations like the Festival of Chariots (Ratha Yatra), our events showcase devotional music, dance, drama, and traditional vegetarian feasts — creating joyful experiences for the entire community.
For over 30 years, ISKCON Calgary has grown through the dedication of devotees, volunteers, supporters, and well-wishers. Whether you are exploring spirituality for the first time or seeking a deeper devotional life, our doors are always open.
We invite you to visit, participate, and become part of our growing spiritual family.
Discover devotion. Experience community. Serve with love.
