📜 Why Snana Yatra is so Special
On the full moon day of Jyestha , Lord Jagannath receives a grand ceremonial bath commemorating His divine appearance in this world.
According to the Skanda Purana, this sacred ritual was established by King Indradyumna thousands of years ago, when he installed the original wooden deities of Lord Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra Devi in Sri Jagannath Puri Dham .
✨ The Snana Yatra bathing ceremony of Lord Jagannath has become one of the most cherished festivals on the ISKCON calendar, ever since His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada introduced it to the world outside India.

Parking at the church is only available on Sundays & festivals.
Park your car in the temple parking lot or use street parking on 4th Street for free on Saturdays and Sundays.
Use overflow parking at the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre just one block from the temple.
If you take City Transit you can walk 15 min to the temple from Bridgeland Station
Take a bus from City Hall Station (5 North Haven) and leave right before the temple.
The Church's parking facilities are restricted to Sundays and Festivals exclusively.
